Ryan stationed 1/35 scale Tamiya German machine gunners on a base of wood covered with glue, and built a sidewalk and walls with sheet styrene. Spent cartridges made from thin copper litter the ground. Ryan, 13, received a gold medal in his category at the Western Australia Scale Model Expo in Cannington.
