Warren Lo Cascio
Jackson, New Jersey

Warren took a unique approach to modeling a 1/35 scale Vietnam fire-support-base perimeter, building an oak display case for an Academy jeep and a Tamiya M42 Duster in. The base is wired to produce the sound of gunfire, make the guns recoil, and turn a searchlight on and off – and a joystick can be used for gun elevation and azimuth. He took the picture on the far side of the glass: “I was a gunner on a Duster (D41, 5th Battalion, 2nd Artillery), and I wanted to create a model based on the pictures I took.”
