Michael writes: “This is Tamiya’s 1/32 scale F-16CJ Block 50 that participated in the 2001 ‘Tiger Meet of the Americas’ in Colorado while assigned to the 79th FS.” He added wiring to the landing gear and vacuum-formed the FOD cover and AIM-9 protective caps. He also used .020" sheet stock and aluminum foil to make the “burner cans,” and Eduard photoetched-metal RBF tags set. A mixture of tempera paints and oils were used for the weathering and highlighting of panel lines. “I normally use aftermarket decals, but the kit’s decals worked beautifully!”
