“I’d not done armor models for several years, but I wanted to experiment with
some of the finish and weathering techniques I’ve been reading about. This is
Tamiya’s 1/35 scale M48 finished in Model Master enamels with Mig pigments. The
troops and equipment are from Dragon and Tamiya; Verlinden supplied the diorama
pieces. I called it ‘Tailgunner’ after the rider whose job it was to watch the
tank’s rear during combat.”
