Jack Geratic
South Porcupine, Ontario, Canada

Jack says he backdated Zebrano's 1/35 scale resin Austrian Lieutenant of 1916 to 1914 , “by removing all buttons and mixing my own ‘pyke-grey.’  He painted with acrylics and made a base with Celluclay and Woodland Scenics groundwork materials. “I created the collar insignia with decal paper and cut some bits of brass to make a trigger guard and *** lever for the gun,” he says. He chose the subject to join a Great War group build, and because the 17th regiment recruited in Slovenia, where his parents came from.
