Paul writes: “I recently built a Monogram Golden Knight kit for a friend. When my granddaughter saw it, she asked if I could build a carousel horse for her. Of course I said yes. I used the Confederate Raider by Moebius; it has the same horse as the Golden Knight but with a more contemporary saddle. My granddaughter loves butterflies and her middle name is Ivy, so I chose dry transfers from a local craft store to reflect those preferences. The wooden base was also purchased there. The post is brass tubing from a hardware store with a soft copper wire wrapped around it. The ball atop the post is a lamp pull from my collection of old household hardware.”
