Richard writes: “This is the Blue Shadow, a two-masted brig from the time of the American Revolution. Manufactured by D. Mamoli of Italy, the model is 1/64 scale. With the exceptions of the figurehead, cannons, stern windows, stern decoration, and flags, she is made of wood and thread. Construction covered a three-year span, with many a break in between.”
