Ralph says he based this project on the principle that no model is so bad it cannot be used for spare parts. He built an Argentine I.A.e. 25 Calquin in 1/72 scale (“or as close as I could get,” he says) with parts from Revell and Frog A-20 Havocs, Matchbox and Frog de Havilland Mosquitoes, an Entex N1J1 Gekko, a UPC Grumman TBF Avenger, a Fujimi F4U Corsair, a P-51 from somewhere, and “spare bits and pieces.”
