Dave’s “before and after” vignette features two AMT/Ertl 1/25 scale 1951 Ford pickup trucks. He chopped the top of one model by 1⁄4" and fitted wheels, tires, and a blower top from an AMT/Ertl Street Fury kit. Dave painted with automotive spray-can Peugeot blue metallic. “I made custom car models for years before moving over to military models, and it was good to go back again,” he says.
