Roger writes, “This is Academy’s 1/72 scale Me 163B (White 14) and Scheuch-Schlepper. I improved the 163 with scratchbuilt cockpit details, aerials, pitot tube, and a nose cabin air inlet. The rear windows are vacuum-formed. I superdetailed the Schlepper and replaced the tractor’s wheels (the kit's were undersize). The figures are from Preiser. I finished the model in Model Master enamel paints and Woodland Scenics acrylics for surface details. The Me 163 is over-coated with Model Master semigloss clear lacquer, and the Schlepper got flat lacquer clear. The scenic background is German countryside imported from Faller Models.”
