A modeler since age 7, now a civil engineer, Rafael has been a lifetime fan of the Fuerza Aérea Salvadoreña. He says he built Tamiya’s 1/72 scale P-51D and heavily weathered it “to represent a Mustang 750 Cavalier used in the last moments or after the 100 Hour War between El Salvador and Honduras in July 1969.”
