“The Tiger I has long been my favorite tank of World War II,” Chris says. “This one is a 1/35 scale Dragon model I built a few years ago when I was 14. It was my first attempt at modeling Zimmerit; I used a filed-down flathead screwdriver and Squadron white putty. Due to the rough surfaces, the numbers and insignia are hand-painted with Winsor & Newton artist’s oils instead of decals.
