Damian Petro, Kenmore, Washington

Damian scratchbuilt the USS California as it was in late 1944. The 1/200 scale ship is 37.5" long and took about three and a half months. Damian says, “The model is made mostly from cardboard, but wood, plastic, and metal parts were used. The water was made from Durham’s Rock Hard Water Putty.”
