Modeling the X-15 displayed at the Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, Ken built CMK/Special Hobby’s 1/32 scale X-15-A2. He simulated the Inconel X nickel-alloy surface by coating Testors Model Master black metallic with a semigloss acrylic clear. The tanks and support dolly were supplied by the kit.
