Moe Veldhuizen, LaSalle, Ontario, Canada

Moe built a 1/48 scale hangar for a Special Hobby Spitfire and a Tamiya Hurricane using a far-ranging assortment of materials: tile edging for girders; mini Christmas lights for interior lighting; light shades from foil tape (without removing the tape backing); a base made from an Elmer’s trifold display board, spray-painted gloss gray; and doors, floor stripes, and signs he designed in Microsoft Excel. Aires and Scale Modeling by Chris supplied a variety of accessories; many others are scooped from Moe’s spares.
