Modeling the “Lost in Space” ship Jupiter 2 as it appeared in 1965 was the goal of Mark’s custom build of the Moebius 1/35 scale kit. It’s airbrushed with Tamiya acrylics in various shades of gray and features a fully detailed and lighted interior: a single pilot’s chair that folds up and is placed in the central console; working hatches; snap-on landing gear; a launch tower as seen in the pilot episode; internal lighting; engine lighting; ceiling beams; Robinson family and Maj. West figures; customized Dr. Smith and robot figures; photoetched-metal and scratchbuilt parts; decals; and a detailed weapons locker.
