“After doing research on the Balkan conflict for a class assignment, I was inspired to model these two vehicles of the Kosovo Force,” Chris says. “The Challenger is a 1/35 scale Tamiya kit modified from the desert version by removing the sand skirts and adding nonslip areas to the horizontal surfaces using textured paint. The M1025 Humvee is a Tamiya kit as well. Both are painted with Testors Model Master acrylics and weathered using plaster mixed with Winsor & Newton artist’s oils.”
