Built in 1855, the legendary locomotive General has appeared at several world fairs over the decades (including the World’s Columbian Exhibition in Chicago in 1893 and arriving under its own power at the 1964 New York World’s Fair). It is still displayed at the Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History in Kennesaw, Ga. Ralph built MPC’s 1/25 scale kit and says, “The kit was 33 years old when I bought it. What an unusual model! This was a joy to build.”
