To depict the USS Nevada in 1943, Robert started with the HobbyBoss 1/350 scale Arizona. Then, he says, “Everything from the main deck up was scratchbuilt using plans from the Floating Drydock. Secondary and antiaircraft guns are from L’Arsenal, radars from Tom’s Modelworks, and other photoetched metal is from Gold Medal Models. I painted in Measure 12 camouflage using haze gray and sea blue from White Ensign Models.”
