“My dream is to model the Bundeswehr from 1947 to today in 1/35 scale,” says Andres, who kept rolling in that direction with his Revell Germany MARS (Mittleres Artillerie Raketensystem). There are Eduard photoetched-metal details inside and out, along with wire for hydraulic cables and electrical conduits. Andres made other details from styrene and aluminum and laid down fine-grade sandpaper for antiskid surfaces. Artist’s-oil washes and dry-brushing finished the mobile multiple-rocket launcher.
