A lot of personal touches went into Jean Paul’s depiction of Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari F2002 using Revell Germany’s 1/12 scale kit. Designing on his computer, Jean Paul superimposed the Shell logo on a carbon composite-patterned image, printed on paper, and cut it out for the intake cowl — “a job, but not as expensive as decals. Application is easy with white glue,” he says. To suggest speed, Jean Paul used his computer to blur images of the tire logos and track edge.
