Unable to procure a Peterbilt 281, Cody used AMT’s 1/25 scale Peterbilt California Hauler 359 to model the truck from Steven Spielberg’s 1971 movie “Duel.” Cody built most of the trailer from sheet styrene; it’s detachable and detailed with hoses and working gear. He also cast tires in resin.
