“I built this model because I liked the design of the ships from “2001: A Space Odyssey,” Pierre says. “Then I thought it would be fun to think ‘What if?’ That's what led me to convert the space clipper to a FedEx cargo ship. I used the Moebius 1/60 scale model built right from the box with the windows blanked out. The paint scheme is a combination of Krylon and Tamiya paints. I created the logo in Adobe Illustrator, then printed it on clear decal film.”
