Darryl writes: “This is the AMT/Ertl 1/25 scale 1957 Chevy Bel Air I built for my stepfather a few years ago. After he passed, my mother asked that I keep it in his memory. The original kit was in bad shape, and it took several passes with brake fluid to get the old paint off. It was painted with Testors turquoise enamel and a two-tone turquoise-and-white interior. It’s trimmed with adhesive chrome foil and sealed with Testors gloss clear.”
