It took more than two months for Steve to build and paint Tamiya’s 1/12 scale Team Lotus Type 72D, 1972, “mostly due to curing time for the paint,” he says. He used AK Interactive Xtreme Metal paints with AK flat base for the engine and gearbox. The body wears Alclad II gloss black with an Alclad gloss clear coat; livery is from tbdecals.com.
