For his first helicopter model, Ricardo built Kitech’s 1/72 scale AH-1T Sea Cobra. He airbrushed it with Comex base gray acrylic paint and hand-brushed Humbrol acrylic matt black and cockpit green (78) darkened with a little more black. The rotors are painted with Testors Model Master gloss black enamel, and he made his own FOD covers, straps, and Remove Before Flight tags using foam sheet, red ribbon, and staples. He topped off the build with a beacon from an R/C chopper.
