Matt says, “This was originally a limited-edition [1/72 scale] Slave 1 kit from FineMolds. I wanted to do a diorama — after all, it came with a metal ‘Han in Carbonite’ and a Boba Fett figure. The stormtroopers came from a FineMolds Millennium Falcon kit I had. I felt they made the scene more authentic.” Matt cut out the ramp to lower it — not an option in the kit — and built walls to complete the modification. He also added LEDs powered by a 9-volt battery.
