Adam Weinstein

Tamarac, Florida

“This 1/25 scale project started with the Moebius International Lonestar and a Revell Germany “can-do” Peterbilt wrecker body,” Adam says. After visiting a wrecker show in Orlando and taking thousands of pictures, he decided to combine them all in one build. He extended the wrecker body and added three roll-up doors. Purple LEDs were mounted under the wrecker body and wired in, and a scratchbuilt work light also was added. He mounted another axle on the extended chassis. The cab interior contains electronic games, food, a Nike shoebox, backpack, cooler, Windex, CB radio, snacks, a laptop, magazines, even a wanted poster on the dashboard (“you never know who’s out there,” Adam says). A working dome light shows off all the stuff. Adam painted mostly with Tamiya and Testors colors topped by an automotive clear. He also designed and printed most of the decals.
