Inspired by Life magazine pictures he found on the Internet, Mr. Martens built Trumpeter’s 1/32 scale Dauntless SBD-2 and painted the markings through hand-made masks. He says, “Although the kit fought me to the very end (accidently dropped twice), it came out all right.”
