James put a lot into his Airfix 1/72 scale Hurricane, detailing the cockpit, building flaps from sheet styrene, boxing in and detailing the gear bays, and adding a vacuum-formed canopy from Squadron. He installed a propeller and sundry other details from Revell’s kit of the plane. Decals from Aviaeology mark the Battle of Britain fighter as that of British ace Peter Townsend in September 1940.
