Dustin Tom Wakefield

Nampa, Idaho

Marking the 100th anniversary of the British Mark I tank, Dustin was inspired by Rick Lawler’s September 2016 FineScale Modeler article to build Takom’s 1/35 scale kit. He writes, “I decided to build this as Daredevil 765, the first tank to fire a shot at the enemy. Camo is representative of the design by Solomon J. Solomon.” Dustin painted with Tamiya acrylics, Vallejo dark and light mud pigments, and Abteilung 502 oils.
