Steven writes: “I sat in the co-pilot seat of an aircraft just like this about five years ago. My dad and I were flying out over the Queen Charlotte Islands of British Columbia (the islands are now known as Haida Gwaii) to go salmon fishing. This model is a gift for him.” Steven modernized Czech Model’s 1/48 scale JRF Goose by chopping wingtips to fit retracted float pods and replacing the kit’s two-blade props with three-blade propellers from a Testors 1/48 scale OV-10.
