Thomas McGoonan

Jewett City, Connecticut

In 1932, Ford Motor Co. produced its first V8-powered cars as the Model B replaced the Model A. One of the cars with the new V8 flathead was a roadster. Thomas says, “My 14-month-long roadster restoration began with a Monogram 1932 Ford Deuce street rod in 1/8 scale. It is a large kit with a great fit and finish. But what I wanted was an original Ford Model 18.”
