I just cannot build out of the box... had to change something! This is the Bandai's 1/72 scale "Resistance" X-Wing modeled for Galactic Alliance service.
The kit was painted in a yellow, white, and gray scheme then weathered. The insignia is from an extensive Star Wars emblem sheet I picked up online many years ago.
The snowy base is made using Tamiya's weathering snow effect paste.
