My name is Frank, and I began modeling at about age 6. The first kit I remember building was the Monogram 1/72 P-51B Mustang. A few bottles of paint, a brush, and some glue and I was a happy little boy! Now, I primarily focus on 1/48 WWII aircraft, with the occasional odd scale build here and there. I am 40 years old, and work as a goldsmith/custom designer for a successful jewelry company. I have found that skills learned on the bench at work translate well to the model bench, and vise versa.
