I am a lifelong modeler and long-time IPMS member - I first joined as a junior member in '66 in Atlanta, and became a life member after editing the Journal then being elected National Secretary. Won a prize at the '83 IPMS nationals, the high-point of my modeling "career." I have a garage full of kits, a work bench in my business office, and don't do nearly enough modeling to suit me. I do more "vicarious" modeling through FSM and other model magazines.
I wrote an article in the pilot issue of FSM (it was on the Boeing XF5B-1 Parasol monoplane fighter in 1/32nd scale, kit-bashed and converted from the Hasegawa F4B-4 kit) and have contributed a few other times. I'm exiled in Vegas, and hope to do more traveling to national and regional contests if the money thing turns around. Until then, I dream, and read and occasionally build, and attend local and regional meets when I can.
