I've been building for barely a year now, and though I feel like my skills have come a long way since that first Revell kit, I'm constantly looking for new techniques and tips that will help me improve. I enjoy finding common household items that I can incorporate into a kit because staying within the budget keeps the wife happy. So far I've mostly focused on WWII armor, but really anything military interests me. I am former USMC, and damned proud of it. We've got two kids, and my son also enjoys building, though he's only ten and still getting the hang of handling the fiddly bits. Other than that, I'm into pretty much anything that relates to history. I do a bit of metal detecting, genealogy, and I collect militaria and coins.
