My Dad and 2 Brothers were all TWA Captains.

Trained at March Field in 1927 in Consolidated PT-1s

Barnstormer in 1928 for "A penny a pound" DH-4s & Curtiss Jenny's

Air racer & test pilot for Cessna 1929-1930, AW, BW, DC6B (yes Cessna made a design), GC-1

Braniff Pilot #6  1930 Lockheed Vega 5C

Weddell-Williams Flying Services 1931 Lockheed Vega 5B

TWA 1932 as an airmail pilot flying the Beacons in Consolidated Fleetster 20As & Lockheed Orion 9s (yes Lockheed reused the name). Ford 5-AT, Beechcraft Staggerwing B17 (bet you didn't know TWA owned a Staggerwing), B-307, DC-1, DC-2, DC-3, DC-4, L-049, L-649, L-749, L-1049, L-1649.

Mid career he was loaned to the ATC as a Chief Pilot, he flew C-75 & C-54's.

I'm recreating the ships he flew in 1/72 from the Consolidated PT-1 through the L-1649A Starliner.
