April 2015: My name is Quinton, I live in Vermont and have recently returned to this hobby after a nearly twenty year break. I served for eight years in the Navy and then two years in the Army National Guard as an M1 tank crewman. The military kindly paid for most of my BA (tuition assistance) and all of my Master's Degree (GI Bill). 
My main focus in fine scale modelling is armor - especially late WWII, Korea, Cold War, and Arab-Israeli conflicts tanks. I'm pretty much a "noob" or "hack" at assembling/painting/detailing kits, but I'm learning and having some fun!
Other interests include baseball (yes, still playing!), hunting, fishing, and history.
