I am 51 now (2015). I currently live in Greenville , SC and have since 1980. I have been married to my wonderful wife Leslie since 1989 and have the best daughter a dad could ever hope for named Ashley who is currently in Med school at UAB studying to become a Optometrist who will graduate in the class of 2018.
I started constucting plastic scale model kits as a kid of 11 or 12 years old just for fun and have been modeling ever since then off and on over the years. I joined a local modelers club, South Carolina Modelers Association (SCMA) about 4 years ago and have since joined a second upstate club called the Piedmont Scale Modelers (PSM) about 2 years ago. Both clubs have wonderful members who are extremely talented and diverse. I have learned so much since joining these clubs that have helped me become a better modeler. I also subscribe to Fine Scale Modeler magazine which has equally helped inspire and motivate my modeling addiction. I enjoy and am interested in building WWII aircraft, WWII armor, Sci-Fi, & Fantasy Figures in various scales.
I also enjoy viewing fellow modelers work and am often amazed and inspired by the level of dedication to detail and originality in all subject matters. For me, modeling is not about "how many contests can I win" or "how can I out beat the other guy to win an award". For me modeling is a stress reliever and something to be enjoyed not to mention have a lot of fun with. Please feel free to contact me by email.
