Flight of the Old Dog B-52 finished

Looks great and a great inturpation(sp), been a long time since I read that book, never thought of trying that myself.

Great work Mr Miller! Did that myself with the old Academy/Minicraft kit, but with conventional engines. Good to see a pro finally build it. And looking forward to the Cheetah! Keep us posted.

Great looking Old Dog!! One of my favorite Dale Brown books. I would love to see your interpretation of the Cheetah or better yet the Dreamstar from that book, there is a challenge for you!!

Looks pretty cool. I second the wish for both the Cheetah and Dreamstar. I don't recall that Dreamstar was described in excrutiating detail, so you should have a good deal of latitude in what you build.

Very nice interpretation of the fantasy aircraft. I wonder what the RCS of those engine faces is? Also the weapons pylons and fixtures.

Thank you to all the compliments on the aircraft Yardbird, I would imagine it's RCS is as big as a........B-52. Seriously, instead of going back and re reading the book, I used these drawing as a reference and they both had wing stores.

I thought of doing the internal Scorpion rotary launcher...for about a second, but this thing is too small.
I'm going to send a photo to Mr. Brown and will let y'all know if responses. I also went to the library and checked out Day of the Cheetah to see if I can bring a few more of Dale's birds to life. Thanks again for all the kind words. It's nice to have my work admired.
