Here are some builds of LVTP7-A1s. Basically the same vehicle, just with a different front light set-up.

Here are some of my pics of tracs, operating at Camp Pendleton Ca., Camp Fuji Japan, Camp Schwab Okinawa Japan, MPF offload, Thailand (including a couple of Thai AAVs), Kuwait and Iraq. With and without EAAK, "straight leg" and RAM/RS. I have like four photo albums of tracs, so pretty much any view you need, just haven't gotten them loaded up yet. Need anything specific let me know and see if I can get it loaded it up for you.

Of course, you can also model non-American Amtracks.

Other countries are South Korea, Italy, Chile, and a few others.

Yes, the interior is a light green. Official name is Sea Foam Green. Don't know the Humbrol equivelant, but Testor's Model Master Pale Green, with a little white added is a good match. Tamiya Sky looks good too.

YEAAAAHHHH!
ROK all the way!
Heavyarty:yep, the LVTP-7 was an older version of the LVTP7-A1Big Smile [:D] and it is practically the same if you don't count the headlight arrangement.
I habe the Academy kit featuring corrected imperfections and indy tracks and I think it is only avail. in Korea, cos I have never seen an indy track and corrected version here...
google image it, or go to www.squadron.com and type in LVTP-7 under 1/35 armor kits.
you should get the model and a review from armoramaBig Smile [:D]
good luck
I think Oddjob007 is doing the same thing, cos I got him the kit from Korea too!

Yes, that is what I said, I wasn't asking a question. The Academy LVTP7 kit is available outside of Korea as well. There are no corrected imperfections in the kit. It is a copy of the Tamiya kit with a new sprue that contains the parts to backdate it to an LVTP7. These include the front plate (with older light set-up, replaceing the Tamiya A1 plate), the commander's cuplola (slightly differant than the A1 cupola), and a few other LVTP7 specific parts.

Here is a review by Vodnik: http://www.vodnik.net/pages/amtracs/lvtp7.htm
