SPACE 1999 22inch Eagle

Terry here,

I know this is not a kit. I don't want to use this as a bragging spot either. I waited a year for this

Die-Cast model and wanted to share some pics. I feel almost like a new father with this in my collection. After all I am one of these guys closer to 40 than 10, (36) to be precise.

I can't wait to get a spare day with the kitchen to myself so I can do some weathering and change the moonbase decals. Their wrong but I have a full set from TANGENTS's to replace them.

Thank you for reading my little rant,

Regards,

Terry.

I use to love that show when I was a kid! Weathering though? Last I remembered the show's ships were always sparkling clean, as a matter of fact, everything was sparkling clean in the future!

The 44inch was weathered by the crew at bray studios. the 2nd 44inch also,  and the 22inch and 11inch to a lesser extent. thte weathering is oh! so subtle.
