I tried to post a picture to the Forum and my computer won't let me.

Please let me know the steps for posting a photo

I'll give it a shot, at least I'll explain how I do it. First, start an account at a photo-hosting site; I use Photobucket. Then, upload your pics that you've saved to your computer to Photobucket.  After they are uploaded, you'll see the thumbnail pics.

Under the thumbnail picture will be five choices.  You want to click on the one that says "IMG codes". Once you do,the code will be high-lighted in blue.  Right click on that code and "copy".   Now, go to the post that you've started here at FSM and simply "paste" the code. You can check the post with the "Preview" feature (above the composition window) and your pic should show there, as it will when you post your comments with "post".

I hope that helps!

Another way, once you have the photo URL copied, is to use the 'rich formatting' option, and click on the single film frame icon (the still photo icon).  A window will pop up, asking for the address.  You paste (if windows, control V, into the window, and then click on INSERT.  That should do it.
