I'll add to clarify that I figured that if you unsubscribed from the thread, that is, it was in your Favorites and you removed it, you could just return to it and just click Add to Favorites again, and that should put it back in your favorites.

I went to my post there is no subscribe feature

I apologize if I've introduced confusion into this discussion.  I'm talking about the "Add to Favorites" feature:

I've never seen a feature called "Subscribe", only "Add to Favorites".  That's a kind of subscription to a thread, but probably not what you're talking about.

Does the subscribe function even work?

I mistakenly hit unsubscribed. How do I fix it?

To a thread here in the forum?  I'd go pull up the thread again and just click to subscribe again.
