Hi , CWALKER3 !

I guess I am lucky in that  I have a very close connection with the project right here in the SAN ANTONIO area .The local HOBBY SHOP (owned and run by an AIR FORCE veteran) has inside contacts with the program here .I've been able to leave the kits with him and the gentleman picks them up an sees that they get there . I think everyone should get on board with this one . As a former V.A. volunteer giving classes in model building and being the liason between my AMERICAN LEGION post and the facility I have seen firsthand how well this works . These guys get to smile and improve their prosthetic skills in model building .What a pleasure to see one of these patients leave with a smile because they learned how to live and do again .      Tanker-Builder .

IPMS has a chapter dedicated to providing modeling kits and supplies to those service members that are currently recuperating here in the States. More info can be found on the IMPS site. Go here: http://www.ipmsusa.org/ and then click on Support the Troops box on the left hand side of the page.
