Today marks 33 years since the sinking of the other sister, the Blackthorn.  Of the 50 crew members,  23 lost their lives in this the Coast Guard’s worst peacetime disaster.

Aloha Airlines Flight 243.

IMO the best airliner ever designed. Why, you ask?

Because when these things do have catastrophies, lots of passengers survive.

This would be quite a model.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
