Your a bit closer than me & I think thumbing it from Scotland would be a challenge..........
It's on my extended bucket list & a bit like going to St Maarten - probably never going to happen unless the numbers come up
It was a rail orientated travel show that I saw the line & it looks outstanding - I guess that's why it's featured in so many films.
I like Scotland, too. We took a train trip from Oxford to Edinburgh back when my dad was stationed at RAF Upper Heyford in the 60s. Then I spent a lot of time fixing boomers in Holy Loch later on. Beautiful country.
