We had a problem with car burglaries around here lately, and I felt the need to step up and get some home defense as well.  I think that this should adequately convey my intentions should anyone think they're going to steal my monogrammed cup holder...i'm sure there's a chapter on this baby in your book, Mike. I can lay down about a gallon in under half a minute with this big boy, You mes with the bull, you get the horns...

This is a great thread! I carry a full-size Glock 21 .45ACP myself, for the very reason that Green Thumb says he bought a shotgun - knock-down power. Plus, it's really easy to strip & clean after a day at the range. Ammo for that thing is getting a bit pricey, though.........

My wife carries a Taurus Millenium Pro 9mm. It's ok, but has a really long trigger pull. I like a short pull.....don't read too much into that last statement.......

Oh, not too worried about that, lol. I'm absolutely  SURE that I"d be covered under the "Castle Doctrine"! Wink

I can also water the lawn with my firearm under local ordinances.... Stick out tongue

While I initially spoke ( typed ? ) facetiously, I did double check and have come across a couple articles
about cities having either banned owning water guns or banned carrying them outside in public.
.
Long ago I heard the comment: " If ya douse  'em with that Super Soaker, make sure that ya drag 'em inside across yer threshold...."
Not sure if that applies in this case...............Hmm
.
As for watering yer lawn: if ya ever do it on dry, hot days, make sure to do it on whatever day local ordinances say you can do it.Stick out tongue
Best of luck to ya with that deadly Super Soaker, John Mcclane jr.
I know ya won't let go of it until they pry it outa yer cold, wet hands.......Whistling

I have a modified Remington 870.  I love that one.  I also have an old Mosin Nagant too.  Even has the bayonet for Zombie encounters. :)

.and the best thing about that Moisin Nagant : surplus ammo is still available, though I don't know if AP or tracer is still around.Hmm
