What build are you putting off?
Among my many unbuilt kits is a Trumpeter 1/350 scale prewar USS Saratoga (CV-3). With it resides a Gold Medal Models photoetched-metal set of rails and details so extensive that, if you swat a desktop with it, it sounds like slamming a screen door. I imagine an exquisite superstructure and a flight deck filled with yellow-winged biplanes.
Will I ever build it? Well, I still have it. Do you need an answer right now?
You probably have several models in your collection that are in the same category. So, I ask: Is there a build you are putting off? In 150 words or less, tell us what that kit is (please specify manufacturer and scale) and why you haven’t built it yet. Also, give us an estimate of how long it will be before you dig into that project.
Of course, take all the time you want before you start that model. But if you want to tell us about it, please provide your answer here or e-mail it directly to me by Monday, Oct. 6, 2014.
